Compare and Contrast: Movies vs. Books

The purpose of my paper is to argue that books are better than movies. This is going to be a compare and contrast essay and is going to fit in the argumentative category. I choose to compare these two because I hear a lot of people complain about how the movies are never as good as the books they are based of off. I Also agree with that statement and I wanted to compare and contrast the aspects that make that statement true.

    I really like how you set up your paragraph giving the point of what you are arguing because of what people say. It's a valid topic that I think will resonate with a lot of people.

    Great diagram. Simple and to the point. It's funny how disappointing it is to read a book and then watch the movie. For me, I find that if I see the movie first and then read the book there are so many things made clearer by the written word.

    Atokena, I like how you added positive points about both sides of the argument even though you are arguing in favor of books.
